Change is a comin!

Sometimes I dread change. But other times I am happy to see change come. There seems to be a lot of change in our lives lately. I've seen the Lord draw me closer to him and seen him open doors for our family. Recently we made the decision to visit another church in our area. This was something, honestly, that was a long time coming. My husband just hasn't been happy where we are and even though we have been heavily involved in the ministries at our current church we felt almost held back from moving forward anymore than where we are. So I submitted to my husband and we started to visit one of the same denominational churches in our area. We felt a connection right away, but were still unsure if we neededto make a move. However, the pastor of that church had been praying for God to send a minister/couple to be the children's pastor there. It seems that the current one is going through a lot right now and is working on moving forward himself, so they were going to need one soon enough. The pastor asked my husband to pray about taking this position. We had accepted and are really looking forward to working with the children in that church. Meanwhile, we are having some troublesome conversations with our current church and it seems that they have been through a lot and some believe this is just a bad time. We couldn't think of a better time for God to move. So we are going to be leaving our current church and ministering as Children's Pastor at this new church. Pray for us!!!
Also, on a different note. I've lot 10 out of the 52 lbsthat I am trying to lose! I am very excited. This new church has an arobics class three days a week and I've been going. I've seen a difference and am so excited about the results! So there's what is going on with us. Please pray for us that we will be the best that we can be. Pray for our church family that they will understand and that they will see us off on a good note. Pray that no one will be bitter or angry with us and that we will feel welcome to bring our children to their VBS or attend a meeting there as well. This is very important to us as Christians that we work together with other churches in our community to grow the kingdom of Christ.
I pray that you all are blessed and haev a wonderful weekend!

God Bless,
Jenn
